• Man lights up cannabis joint in Parliament: A man briefly lit up a cannabis joint in Parliament before being nabbed by security yesterday. The man lit the joint in the public gallery about 5.30pm during the second reading of the Resource Management (Climate Protection) Amendment Bill.

• Study Insects with Eric Carle: webquest for second graders - subject insect exploration. Students read funa nd colorful books by author Eric Carle and use that as a hook to get them excited about learning about insects. This webquest provides ample information , directions and assessment information to make tis a successful classroom project. The end product is a mural representing the insect habitat and a chance to practice speaking skills by presenting the mural to the class.
